So heres the deal. I was just going to the store to buy some grocerys earlier today, and while there I had several old people stare at me. This isn't something new, as it happens nearly all the time with those damn old people.
1. I'm not a child predator
2. I'm not ugly
3. I have a very friendly clean-cut appearance.
4. I have never molested anyone. EVER.
Yet I keep getting stared down by those damn old people.
Its gotten to the point where I basically just stop whatever I'm doing and stare those fuckers down until they get awkward and walk away.
Kids do this as well, but they are 1000% more friendly.
Why do they do this? please leave a comment and give me your theories!

I think they're hoping if they stare at you long enough you'll give them a coupon. They do the same thing to me.

people always try to look at other people but avoid eye contact to avoid discomfort and weird situations. but children still havent gone through enough socialising process to learn that, while old people have overgrown it and just dont a fuck what you will think about them

Pretty much what was said before, they just don't give a damn and they want to keep an eye on you. Old people always assume the worst of the younger generations and want to keep an eye on what they're doing. They are also NOSY AS HELL, so I can only figure they are very interested in what you're doing/buying.
I never pay attention to old people so they probably do the same to me :L
Kids though have a habit of staring at me as if I'm about to capture them :S
I think it's because they envy your youth... or your fly is unzipped and you're wearing those boxers with the huge hole in the front...
They are probably just bored and thus observant of the young lives around them. And depending on where they come from, they might stare more or less.

LOL, I used to go into a Dunkin Donuts everyday after school with my black friend and there would always be this one old guy sitting in a corner staring at him. Was the funniest shit ever.

Old people can be very strange sometime. Just ignore them, they're no harm.

Well here's your problem: You have never molested anyone and they still look at you as if you have. So, you're getting the scorn of a rapist without reaping any of the benefits. I think your course of action is obvious: get out there and molest. If they're going to scorn you anyway, might as well be for a reason.
